To find out who your advisor is:

You can find out who your academic adviser is by logging into WVU Portal, going into STAR and clicking on the DegreeWorks link. On the top right corner of the DegreeWorks audit, open the envelope, you should see your adviser and their email listed.

Types of Advisors

PSC has both faculty and professional advisors. Faculty advisors have designated office hours and are often available at other times as well. Professional advisors are available five days a week and walk-ins are often possible. Professional advisor offices are located next to Academic Affairs on the first floor of the Administration Building. While any of our professional advisors can assist you, Michele Labar specializes in majors with Liberal Arts, Bonnie Lawson specializes in majors within Applied Science, and Abby Shillingburg specializes in majors within STEM.
