In order to earn an Associate of Science degree in Forestry with a major in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources, a student must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours of required and elective course work.
Note: FOR 101 replaces WVUe 191 as a first-semester requirement.
Upon completion of the four-year program, students are prepared for a wide variety of professional recreation and parks responsibilities with local, state and federal government agencies, land managing agencies, private and commercial recreational organizations and agencies serving special populations.
