The agricultural and extension education major is designed to prepare students for agricultural teaching, extension and environmental technology employment positions. The curriculum provides flexibility in emphasizing teacher preparation, environmental technology or communications and leadership.
Graduation Requirements
In order to earn an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture with a major in Agricultural and Extension Education, a student needs to complete a minimum of 60 credit hours of required and elective course work.
Note: AGRL 191 replaces WVUe 191 as a first-semester requirement.
