Potomac State College offers the only B.A.S. Criminal Justice program in the state of West Virginia.

In addition to enhanced employment opportunities as a result of completing the online B.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice, graduates will have experienced educational growth and expanded their critical and analytical reasoning. Promotional opportunities are possible upon completing this B.A.S. degree, and the student will have enhanced location mobility. The student no longer has to feel bound to an area where they’re employed and may seek employment elsewhere.

The curriculum adheres to the same rigor as our traditional B.A.S. Criminal Justice degree. Students that successfully complete the program can then enter the professional world of Criminal Justice or continue their education at the graduate level in law, business administration, criminal justice, counseling, or social work. The Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) degree provides students who have completed an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program with an opportunity to continue their education to the baccalaureate level, acquiring additional skills and furthering their professional advancement.
