Students enrolling in programs leading to a baccalaureate degree in agriculture are offered a variety of career fields. The general agricultural program will provide the foundation courses for the freshman and sophomore years.

Graduation Requirements

In order to earn an Associate of Science degree in Agriculture with a General Agriculture Major, a student must complete a minimum of 60 credit hours of required and elective course work.

Note: AGRL 191 replaces WVUe 191 as a first-semester requirement.

Career Outcomes

Employment for graduates includes owning a farm business, the private sector of agriculture business and a wide range of public employment.
