Hailed by many as the Arts and Culture capital of the Middle East, Bahrain is a fascinating island country situated in the Persian Gulf.  This program is designed to take an in-depth look at the experience of women in Bahrain and the Middle East and their unique challenges and triumphs in the world of business.  Students will spend a week at the Royal University for Women exploring these topics (as well as local food, culture, customs, beaches, and camel farms) with their students.

This course is an international experience offered in collaboration with the Université de Laval in Quebec City, Canada. Students attend daily presentations in the morning on various topics by Laval University professors (in English) and participate in afternoon excursions that reflect and deepen the students’ understanding of the morning presentation.
